1982年札幌市生まれ。ヒップホップカルチャーの影響を受け、15歳で踊り始める。2006年に「瞬project」を結成し舞台活動を開始。2013年より、平原慎太郎主宰のコンテンポラリーダンスカンパニー「OrganWorks」に所属。
現在は北海道・池田町を拠点に、ダンサー／振付家として国内外で活動するほか、電気工事、石積、楽曲制作など、身体性を伴う多様な仕事を並行して行う。舞台と日常、芸術と労働、都市と地方といった領域を横断しながら、「土地と人をつなぐ表現の場づくり」を目指し、暮らしそのものを創作の土台としている。

Born in 1982 in Sapporo, Japan.
Influenced by hip-hop culture, he began dancing at the age of 15. In 2006, he founded the performance group Shun project and started his stage career. Since 2013, he has been a member of the contemporary dance company OrganWorks, directed by Shintaro Hirahara.
Based in Ikeda, Hokkaido, Shoji works as a dancer and choreographer while also engaging in various physically grounded practices such as electrical work, stone masonry, and music production. Crossing the boundaries between stage and everyday life, art and labor, urban and rural environments, he seeks to create expressions that connect people with the land—rooting his creative work in the texture of daily living.
